North Shore Aquatics Recreational SCUBA diving is one of the world's fastest growing
sports. Three quarters of our planet is covered by water, of which only
3% of that water has been explored. With an open water SCUBA
certification, you can join in the excitement and adventure of the
underwater world. Learning to dive is fun and safe, and you can be in the open water
with a few weeks of specialized training. Before taking a course in
scuba diving, you should be a comfortable swimmer, as well as in good
physical health. At NorthShore Aquatics our instructors and divemasters
use the most up to date materials, and work with the latest skills in
diving. We offer a full service dive facility that provides equipment,
training, repairs, rentals, air fills, travel and most of all fun! The instruction is administered in three integrated parts: lecture,
pool skills, and open water dives. Lectures are given by a diving
instructor in a classroom setting. The pool is where you will learn to
use the equipment necessary for diving. The open water dives are where
you put the skills learned in the classroom and pool to actual use.

Glacier Bay Sports With an on the water location and hundreds of kayaks in stock, Glacier
Bay Sports is Long Island's largest full service kayak shop. We provide
sales, outfitting, lessons, tours, rentals and demos. With over 100
kayaks available for rental, getting on the water and enjoying the
various waterways of Long Island is easy.Our Northport shop is 30 miles east of New York City and
nestled on scenic Northport Harbor, seconds from the historic village

The Whales Tale Indoor and Outdoor Cafe-The Whales Tale Cafe is a seasonal restaurant located directly adjacent to the Britannia Yachting Center's swimming pool, dockside with a full view of the Marina and the Northport Harbor.Since late May, what used to be a deli is now a full-service restaurant and clam bar with a fantastic original menu from fish tacos to a classic fried or broiled fisherman's platter. With fantastic bayside views with incredible sunsets, The Whales Tale really serves an incredible menu. And when you are in the mood, don't forget our classic shrimp cocktail or a dozen or so little necks or oysters on the half shell.

Care Free Boat Club- Carefree Boat Club prides itself on the variety of boats. No matter what your family wants in boating we probably can accommodate - 18’-27’ Cruiser, Deck, Bowrider, Pontoon, Fishing, Ski and Sail Boats are all available. Most families have to compromise by deciding what boat will be the closest fit with their lifestyle when deciding to purchase a boat. With the Carefree Boat Club, you can take your family on a nice cruise this weekend and next week go fishing, the possibilities are endless, no compromises. If it’s larger boats that fit your lifestyle many club locations have a yacht club with boats ranging in size 28’-40’ and styles like Cruisers, Fishing, and Sail boats. For most people a Carefree Boat Club membership is one-third the cost of owning your own boat. We cover the cost of the Boats, Slip Fee’s, children, boating Insurance, Maintenance, Repair, Taxes, Towing Coverage, Fishing License and Depreciation. You will have more time and money to do all the other things you enjoy. Without ever seeing a trailer Carefree Boat Club members can access hundreds of miles of unique shoreline within one hour leaving from a CBC location. At Carefree Boat Club you have access to 15 locations on the east coast and south coast from Maryland to Florida and Texas. It is our goal to expand the Carefree network nationwide and abroad. As a member you have reciprocity with all clubs in this network. Many of our clubs are destination locations.
